Michael Austin Dryden

Services for Michael Austin Dryden, 29, Ottawa, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Ottawa. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Ottawa.Mr. Dryden died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2006, at University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan.He was born Aug. 15, 1976, in Ottawa, the son of Steve and Karen Johnson Dryden. He graduated from Ottawa High School in 1996.Mr. Dryden was associated with C.O.F. Training Services in Ottawa for 10 years. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. He was active in Cub Scouts and was a member of Boy Scout Troop 77, where he attained the rank of Life Scout. He competed in volleyball, basketball, softball and bowling in the Special Olympics for 15 years.Survivors include his parents, Ottawa; a brother, Derick Dryden and companion Amber Snover, Ottawa; two sisters, Stephanie Circle and husband, Jason, Ottawa, and Kristi Good and husband, Aaron, Ottawa; paternal grandparents, John and Darlene Dryden, Ottawa; maternal grandmother, Geraldine Johnson, Ottawa; a niece, Teigan Good, Ottawa; and a nephew, Justin Circle, Ottawa; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.His grandfather, Clyde O. Johnson, died earlier, and a niece, Sadye Circle, died earlier.Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today at Dengel & Son Mortuary in Ottawa, where the family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today.The family suggests memorials to the Michael Dryden Memorial Fund, sent in care of the mortuary, 235 S.
