James L. Kilburn

Services for James L. Kilburn, 72, Bella Vista, Ark., will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. Private inurnment will be later at Memorial Park Cemetery.Mr. Kilburn died Friday, April 7, 2006, at his home.He was born May 2, 1933, in Monkey Run, Ark., the son of Herman and Rosie Young Kilburn. Mr. Kilburn served in the U.S. Army and worked as a mechanic for Ellena Nissan and Laird Noller Ford. He performed with the Bad News Band in Lawrence. He moved back to Arkansas in 1995.Survivors include his wife, Donna; a daughter, Rebecca Gagliano, Lawrence; two stepsons, Brian Fuller, Lawrence, and Jeff Fuller, Raymore, Mo.; two stepdaughters, Lisa Galloway, Dayton, Ohio, and Christina Finch, Mobile, Ala.; four brothers, Dean Kilburn, Donnie Kilburn and George Bowen, all of Lawrence, and Bobby Kilburn, Oklahoma City; four grandchildren, nine stepgrandchildren and a stepgreat-grandchild.Online condolences may be sent at www.rumsey-yost.com.
