Roger L. Davis 1971 - 2006
Graveside services for Roger L. Davis, 34, Eudora, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lawrence.Mr. Davis died Friday, March 31, 2006, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.He was born Nov. 28, 1971, in Hollandale, Miss., the son of Evers and Bernice Turner Davis. He grew up in Hollandale and graduated from Simmons High School.Mr. Davis worked at Master Lawn in Lawrence.Survivors include his parents, Mississippi; four sisters, Carolyn Williams and Penny Williams, both of St. Louis, Annie Anderson, Lawrence, and Clemestine Davis, Hollandale; and 11 brothers, Anthony Davis, Lessie Davis, Elbert Davis, Larry Davis, Robert Davis and Phillip Turner, all of Lawrence, Jimmy Davis and Edward Davis, both of Hollandale, George Davis, Plano, Texas, and Jimmy Williams and Henry Williams Jr., both of Arcola, Miss.Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.Online condolences may be sent at <a href="http://www.rumsey-yost.com">www.rumsey-yost.com</a>.
