Thomas Jackson 1921 - 2006 Lawrence
Graveside services for Thomas Jackson, 84, Lawrence, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Oak Hill Cemetery.Mr. Jackson died Monday, April 3, 2006, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.He was born Aug. 2, 1921, the son of Thomas Sr., and Emma Locke Jackson.Mr. Jackson served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked at Sunflower Ammunition Plant and then for Leavenworth prison for 25 years.He married Mary Ann Dowdell on Aug. 16, 1942. She died March 24, 2006.Survivors include a sister, Sara Aldridge, Overland Park.Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, where the family will receive them from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday.Online condolences may be sent at <a href="http://www.rumsey-yost.com">www.rumsey-yost.com</a>.
