Russell "Joey" Collins 1983 - 2006 Topeka
Services for Russell "Joey" Collins, 23, Topeka, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home in Lawrence. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.Mr. Collins died Saturday, April 1, 2006, in Topeka.He was born Jan. 11, 1983, in Topeka, the son of Russell H. Collins and Carolyn J. Cott Crump.Mr. Collins worked construction in Lawrence and Topeka.He married Kristen R. Lane. She survives, of the home.Other survivors include his mother, Carolyn J. Crump, Topeka; two sons, John and Joseph, Topeka; a daughter, Krislyn Collins, Topeka; two brothers, Randall, Lecompton, and Eli, Topeka; and three sisters, Stacy and Tracy Collins, both of Topeka, and Rachel Collins, Greeley, Colo.The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.The family suggests memorials to the Joey Collins Memorial Fund, sent in care of the funeral home.Online condolences may be sent at <a href="http://www.rumsey-yost.com">www.rumsey-yost.com</a>.
