Mark Peters 1941 - 2005 Lenexa
Services for Mark Hilton Peters, 64, Lenexa, were Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2005, at First Baptist Church in Raytown.Mr. Peters died Friday, Sept. 16, 2005, after a short battle with cancer.He was born March 21, 1941, in Austin, Texas, the son of Mary Elizabeth Pruitt and was adopted by Gerald and Maxine Peters.Mr. Peters served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He worked at Lift Truck Sales and Service for 31 years.Survivors include his wife, Diana, of the home; his mother, Maxine Peters, Plainview, Texas; a daughter, Mandy Peters, Denver; a stepson, Christopher Campbell, Kansas City, Mo.; and two sisters, Billie Loyd, Sacramento, Calif., and Nita Scales, Lawrence.The family suggests memorials to the Salvation Army, 3637 Broadway, Kansas City, MO 64111.
