Services for Shirley Faye Wagner, 70, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. Burial will be in Clinton Cemetery.Mrs. Wagner died Thursday, Sept. 22, 2005, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.She was born April 16, 1935, in Lawrence, the daughter of Harry and Nina Anderson Murphy. She graduated from Liberty Memorial High School in Lawrence.Mrs. Wagner retired from the Kansas Memorial Union as a supervisor of the Hawks Nest in 1996. She was a member of Westside Presbyterian Church and was actively involved in the Lydia Circle. She was also a member of the Mackey Merry Makers.She married Clyde Wagner on April 16, 1954, in Olathe. He died April 17, 1995.Survivors include a son, Tom Wagner, Lawrence; two daughters, Gwen and Cheryl Wagner, both of Lawrence; three brothers, Dale and Henry Murphy, both of Lawrence, and Dean Murphy, Wichita; and two sisters, Ruth Buller and Verna Stanwix, both of Lawrence; and a granddaughter.Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday before the services at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.The family suggests memorials to the church or Lawrence Memorial Hospital Oncology Center, sent in care of the funeral home.Online condolences may be sent at www.rumsey-yost.com.
