Services for Ronald Charles Armstrong, 49, Horton, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Leo's Catholic Church in Horton. Burial will be in St. Leo's Catholic Cemetery in Horton.Mr. Armstrong died Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2005, at Midland Hospice House in Topeka.He was born Sept. 30, 1955, in Horton, the son of Charles Wyatt and Genevieve Kathryn Schuetz Armstrong. He graduated from Horton High School. Mr. Armstrong was a truck driver for several companies, including Oaks Trucking and Stirton Trucking. He was a member of St. Leo's Catholic Church.He married Gail Guy in 1981 in Manhattan. They divorced.Survivors include two sons, Jeremy, Providence, R.I., and Andrew, Horton; a daughter, Rhonda Armstrong, Robinson; four sisters, Delores Coty and Betty Kneisel, both of Manhattan, Barbara Freed, Lawrence, and Nancy Meinecke, Omaha, Neb.; and two grandchildren.A rosary will be said at 6:30 p.m. today, and the family will receive friends after a wake service that follows the rosary at Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton.The family suggests memorials to the Ronnie Armstrong Memorial Fund, sent in care of the mortuary, 909 Central Ave., Horton 66439.
