Pauline Field Kettelhut 1910 - 2005 Ottawa
Graveside services for Pauline Field Kettelhut, 95, Ottawa, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Highland Cemetery in Ottawa.Mrs. Kettelhut, 95, died Friday, Oct. 28, 2005, at Ottawa Village Manor.She was born July 15, 1910, in Meade, the daughter of David and Mary Ellen Baker King. Her family later moved to the Ottawa area, and she attended school there.Mrs. Kettelhut worked for Happy Grocery Store in Ottawa. She later moved to Lincoln, Neb., and worked for Schrier Brothers Grocery for 18 years before returning to the Ottawa area in 1982.She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Ottawa. She also was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America and the Ransom Memorial Auxiliary.She married Charles Warren Field on Oct. 3, 1933. He died Sept. 24, 1954. She married Homer Kettelhut on April 9, 1972. He died March 4, 1982.Survivors include a nephew, Jack Armstrong, Milford, Neb.; and four nieces, Betty Kaub, Ottawa, Loraine Hull, Ottawa, Nelda Staski, Lincoln, Neb., and Lucille Beavers, Wichita.Family members will greet friends after 9 a.m. Tuesday at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home in Ottawa. The family suggests memorials to Midland Hospice or Trinity Methodist Church in care of Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home.
