A funeral service for Ethel Opal Ousdahl, 90, Lawrence, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.Mrs. Ousdahl died Friday, Oct. 28, 2005, at her home.She was born Dec. 5, 1914, in Ozawkie, the daughter of Webster and Bertha Mae Forrester Wadkins.Mrs. Ousdahl attended school in Wyandotte County and Tonganoxie. She farmed with her family while living north of Lawrence for 69 years.She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was also an original member of the Sunny Valley EEU.She married Wilford Allen Ousdahl on Oct. 19, 1936, in the Leavenworth County Courthouse. He died Aug. 29, 1996.Survivors include a son, Wayne, Lawrence; a daughter, Delores Clement, Lecompton; 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.Family members will greet friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.The family suggests memorials to the Douglas County Visiting Nurses Assn. or Hospice Care in Douglas County, sent in care of the Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.
