Roland H. Goslin 1925 - 2005 Lawrence
Services for Roland H. Goslin, 80, Lawrence, will be at 7:30 p.m. today at Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witnesses in Lawrence.Mr. Goslin died Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2005, at Eudora Nursing Center. He was born Feb. 20, 1925, in Horton, the son of Hilary and Flora Cadue Goslin.Mr. Goslin was a minister of Jehovah's Witnesses and was baptized in 1943. He served at the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society, the world headquarters in New York, until 1955. He served numerous congregations in New York, Illinois, California, Mississippi and Kansas.He married Maude Porter in 1955, in Ithaca, N.Y. She survives, of the home.Other survivors include a son, Jed A., Tulsa, Okla.; two daughters, Heather Biggs, Kansas City, Mo., and Ruth Morlan, Wallkill, N.Y.; two brothers, Mace, Rosalie, Neb., and Maurice, Topeka; three sisters, Hildreth Long, Gordon, Neb., Phyllis Sanders, Locust Grove, Okla., and Gertrude Cadue, Horton; and two grandchildren.
