Catherine Joann Mayhugh Worden 1932 - 2005
A memorial service for Catherine Joann Mayhugh Worden, 72, Lawrence, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.Ms. Worden died Friday, Oct. 21, 2005, at Lakeview Manor.She was born Dec. 31, 1932, in Lawrence, the daughter of Leonard Mayhugh and Helen Owens. She attended Lawrence schools. She moved to Hutchinson and then back to Lawrence.Ms. Worden was a member of the Baptist Church.She married Donald Abling. They divorced. She then married Raymond N. Lynn. They divorced. She then married Delbert Hamby. They divorced. She then married Albert Worden. They divorced.Two sons, Byron T. Lynn and Jeffrey O. Lynn, died earlier.Survivors include three sons, Clinton R. Lynn, Randy J. Lynn and Larry D. Hamby; a brother, Leonard Mayhugh, Chico, Calif.; a sister, Barbara J. Singleton, Lawrence; 17 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.The family suggests memorials to the Catherine Joann Mayhugh Worden Memorial Fund, sent in care of the funeral home.Online condolences may be sent to <a href="http://www.rumsey-yost.com">www.rumsey-yost.com</a>.
