Mildred Katherine Pence Lee's Summit, Mo.
A wake for Mildred Katherine "Katie Pence," 91, Lee's Summit, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at her home, 305 NE Forest Ave.Mrs. Pence died Monday, Oct. 17, 2005, at her home.She was a longtime resident of Lawrence and Douglas County, Kan.She married Marsden Pence. He died earlier.Survivors include a son, Larry Pence, Lancaster, Calif.; a daughter, Kay Edwards, of the home; two sisters, Mary Holladay, Independence, Mo., and Georgia "June" Ransdell, Overland Park, Kan.; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.Marts Memorial Services in Kansas City, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
