Jean McKinney 1910 - 2005
Memorial services for Jean McKinney, 95, Lawrence, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Episcopal Church. Inurnment will be at a later date in Memorial Park Cemetery.Mrs. McKinney died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2005, at Pioneer Ridge Retirement Community.She was born April 27, 1910, in Waverly, the daughter of Charles Wilson and Cora Cecilia Vallee Wilson. She had lived in Lawrence since 1917.She married Paul Harnar. He died in 1955. She married Merle McKinney in 1958. He also died earlier.Survivors include a daughter, Julie Hammond, Lawrence; a son, Paul Harnar, Lawrence; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends after the service on Thursday.
