Anglea Haas Howe 1925 - 2005 Williamstown
Services for Anglea "Kathryn" Haas Howe, 80, Williamstown, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Barnett Funeral Home, Oskaloosa. Burial will be in Underwood Cemetery, Williamstown.Mrs. Howe died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2005, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.She was born Sept. 17, 1925, in Williamstown, the daughter of Joseph Crosby and Mildred Pickens Haas.Mrs. Howe was a health care aide in Lawrence.She married George T. Elston in 1939. He died in 1982. She married George E. Swinehart Jr. in 1984. He died in 1996. She married Franklin T. Howe in 1998. He died Sept. 13, 2004.Survivors include two sons, Stephen Elston, Oskaloosa, and Geoffrey Elston, Omaha, Neb.; three stepsons, Kurt Swinehart, Eustis, Fla., Steven Swinehart, Orlando, Fla., and Scott Swinehart, Summerfield, Fla.; two daughters, Barbara Mowder and Luanne Hess, both of Williamstown; a brother, George Haas, Ottawa; a sister, Virginia Cates, Kansas City, Mo.; a stepbrother, Frank Keegan, Port Charles, Fla.; 17 grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.Friends may call from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
