Cecil Alford Williams 1937 - 2005 Tonganoxie
Graveside services for Cecil Alford Williams, 67, Tonganoxie, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Lenape Cemetery in Linwood. Mr. Williams died Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2005, at his home.He was born Nov. 22, 1937, in Picher, Okla., the son of Mary E. Miller Williams. He lived in Lansing, Leavenworth and Basehor before moving to Tonganoxie. He retired in 2003 as a grocer for Brewer's Price Chopper in Bonner Springs. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Bonner Springs.Mr. Williams married Billie Jo Hedden Langford in 2002 in Leavenworth. She survives, of the home.Other survivors include five sons, Gary, Tonganoxie, Ed, Rantoul, John, Tonganoxie, Clark, Bonner Springs, and Kevin, Basehor; three daughters, Sharon Kelley, Tonganoxie, Carol Beard, Wichita, and Jamie Langford, Tonganoxie; two brothers, George, Bethany, Okla., and Crawford, Las Vegas; 20 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.The family will greet friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Calvary Bible Church in Bonner Springs.Quisenberry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
