Services for Ruth Ann Hermansen, 86, Green River, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, at the Union Congregational Church, Green River. Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery. Mrs. Hermansen died Monday, Oct. 10, 2005 at the Castle Rock Convalescent Center in Green River. She was born Nov. 1, 1918, in Green River, the daughter of William Mortimer and Esther Crofts.She attended schools in Green River and was a 1936 Green River High School graduate.Mrs. Hermansen was employed as a secretary for the Green River school district for many years. She was a lifetime member of the Union Congregational Church and the church organist for 46 years.She was a member of Order of Eastern Star and was worthy matron in 1946. Mrs. Hermansen was a P.E.O. past president, member of T.N.T. Traveling Group, Merry 8 Pinochle Club and We Moderns Bridge Club. She married Alton Hermansen on Sept. 10, 1939, in Green River. He died Sept. 15, 2004. Survivors include a son, Jerry Hermansen, Pinedale; a daughter, Janet Adams, Lawrence, Kan.; two sisters, Billee Skinner, of Salt Lake City, and Florence Walker, Harrisburg, Pa.; and three grandchildren.Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Vase Flaming Gorge Chapel in Green River, and from 10 a.m. until the service hour Friday at the church.The family of suggests donations to the Castle Rock Convalescent Center, 1445 Uinta Drive, Green River, Wyo. 82935
