James G. Skinner 1931 - 2005 Eudora
Services for James G. Skinner, 74, Eudora, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Eudora Assembly of God Church in Eudora. Burial will be in Eudora Cemetery.Mr. Skinner died Sunday, Oct. 9, 2005, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.He was born Aug. 5, 1931, in Edmond, Okla., the son of James G. and Ola Slavens Skinner.Mr. Skinner retired after working 38 years for BOC Gases, formerly Airco, in Lawrence.He married Wilda Skinner on Dec. 9, 1952, in Bentonville, Ark. She survives, of the home.Other survivors include two sons, James G. III, Shawnee, and Ronnie L., Lawrence; a brother, William, Parkville, Mo.; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at Warren-McElwain Mortuary Eudora Chapel.The family suggests memorials to Assembly of God Church, sent in care of the mortuary.E-mail condolences may be sent to <a href="mailto:info@warrenmcelwain.com">info@warrenmcelwain.com</a>, subject: Skinner.
