Murriel Young 1925 - 2005 Tonganoxie
Services for Murriel Young, 80, Tonganoxie, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at West Haven Baptist Church in Tonganoxie. Burial will be in Hubbel Hill Cemetery in Tonganoxie.Mr. Young died Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2005, at his home.He was born Aug. 10, 1925, in Nail, Ark., the son of Lee and Julia Brown Young.Mr. Young owned Cargo Oil Co. service station in Kansas City, Kan. He was a member of West Haven Baptist Church.He married Ruby Oleta Ammons on Sept. 22, 1946, in Deer, Ark. She survives, of the home.Other survivors include a son, Don, Tonganoxie; a daughter, Kathleen Ann Young, Chattanooga, Tenn.; two brothers, Jim, Branson, Mo., and Gerald, San Pablo, Calif.; a sister, Judy Paul, Branson, Mo.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Quisenberry Funeral Home in Tonganoxie. The family suggests memorials to the American Lung Assn. or to the church, sent in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 993, Tonganoxie 66086.
