Harold Eugene Krull

Private inurnment services for Harold Eugene Krull, 88, Tonganoxie, will be in Hubbel Hill Cemetery in Tonganoxie.Mr. Krull died Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2005, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.He was born Aug. 11, 1917, in Ottawa, the son of William Forrest and Emma Bonine Krull. He graduated from Liberty Memorial High School in Lawrence in 1935.Mr. Krull served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in the South Pacific during World War II. He managed Bullock Printing Shop in Lawrence for 16 years. He later worked as a job printer and compositor for The World Company in Lawrence for 30 years and retired in 1982. He was active in the VFW, Fraternal Order of Eagles, American Legion, Parent Teacher Assn., and Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts of America Troops.He married Mary Frances Haas on May 24, 1941, in Kansas City, Kan. She survives, of the home.Other survivors include two sons, Mark, Lenexa, and Chad, Tonganoxie; two grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.Quisenberry Funeral Home in Tonganoxie is in charge of arrangements.
