Anna Marie Gretencord 1916 - 2005 Richmond
Services for Anna Marie Gretencord, 89, Richmond, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Therese Catholic Church in Richmond. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery in Scipio.Mrs. Gretencord died Thursday, Sept. 29, 2005, at Richmond Health Care and Rehab LLC.She was born July 10, 1916, in Anderson County, the daughter of Valentine and JoHanna Hastert Bures.Mrs. Gretencord was a homemaker and a member of St. Therese Catholic Church.She married Frank J. Gretencord on Sept. 13, 1938, in Richmond. He died July 31, 1990.A son, Dean Gretencord, also died earlier.Survivors include four sons, Howard Gretencord, Kansas City, Mo., Larry and Terry Gretencord, both of Wellsville, and Mike Gretencord, of Ottawa; a daughter, Judith Ann Wall, Richmond; three sisters, Doris Hicks, Garnett, Clara Powell, Garnett, and Evelyn Pontious, Oregon; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.Friends may call after 10 a.m. today at Farris-Feuerborn Memorial Chapel in Garnett, where the family will receive them after a wake service at 7 p.m. Monday.
