Fleta Robinson

Services for Fleta Robinson, 76, Williamsburg, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at North Baptist Church in Ottawa. Inurnment will be at a later date in Mount Hope Cemetery in Williamsburg.Mrs. Robinson died Friday, Nov. 18, 2005, at Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan.She was born Aug. 12, 1929, in Upland, Ind., the daughter of Glen and Ethel Syphert Rhodes. She graduated from Oakdale High School in Kentucky in 1947. She received an associate’s degree from Spring Arbor College in Michigan in 1952 and a bachelor’s degree in education from Greenville College in Illinois. She had lived in Pittsburg, Eudora and Kansas City, Kan., Wilmore, Ky., and San Diego, San Francisco, Pleasant Hill and Concord, Calif., before moving to Williamsburg in 1992.Mrs. Robinson taught school in Mulberry in 1952. She taught in Eudora for two years and later on a military base in Boeblingen, Germany. She attended North Baptist Church in Ottawa.She married James W. Robinson on Aug. 14, 1952, in Elkatawa, Ky. He survives, of the home.Other survivors include three sons, Doug Robinson, Lawrence, David Robinson, San Rafael, Calif., and Timothy Robinson, San Carlos, Calif.; a daughter, Beth Stephens, La Mirada, Calif.; a brother, Jim Rhodes, Brooksville, Fla.; and eight grandchildren.The family suggests memorials to His Way Ministries, sent in care of Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, P.O.
