Gerald F. Lolley

Services for Gerald F. “Jake” Lolley, 67, Topeka, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel in Topeka. Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery, Wheaton.Mr. Lolley died Friday, Nov. 18, 2005, at St. Francis Heath Center in Topeka.He was born Jan. 4, 1938, in Blaine, the son of Sylvester F. and Katherine E. Fox Lolley. He graduated from Wheaton High School. Mr. Lolley served in the U.S. Navy. He retired from Santa Fe Railroad, where he worked for 35 years.He married Edna Edmonds on July 3, 1987, in Topeka. She survives, of the home.Other survivors include two sons, Michael A., Topeka, and Gerald T., Littleton, Colo.; a daughter, Laurie Ballard, Frisco, Texas; two stepsons, Terry Benschoter, Grantville, and Randy Benschoter, Olathe; a stepdaughter, Kathe Clark, McLouth; a brother, Donald, Frankfort; two sisters, Kay Abitz and Dee Goodman, both of Wheaton; two grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.Friends may call after 3 p.m. Monday at the chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday.The family suggests memorials to the VA Medical Center, Disabled Veterans Fund, 2200 S.W.
