Judith Ann 'Judy' Gibler 1951 - 2005
A memorial service for Judith Ann "Judy" Gibler, 53, Lawrence, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. Cremation is planned.She died Friday, May 27, 2005, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.Mrs. Gibler was born Aug. 6, 1951, in Lawrence, the daughter of William S. Hudson and Eva L. (Baysinger) Hudson.She graduated from Lawrence High School in 1971. She worked in production at Del Monte for 25 years. She previously had worked for E & E Specialties.She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.She married Edward L. Gibler in 1967 in Lawrence. He died Sept. 9, 2003. Survivors include a son, Edward W. Gibler, Lawrence; a daughter, Cori Anne Baker, Lawrence; two sisters, Sara Taylor, Kansas City, Kan., and Martha Gibbs, Oskaloosa; and three grandchildren.The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. They suggest memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, in care of the funeral home.
