Nada Coleen Schmidt 1949 - 2005 Boyne City, Mich.
Services for Nada Coleen Schmidt, 55, Boyne City, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church in Boyne City. Mrs. Schmidt died Thursday, May 19, 2005, in Boyne Falls, Mich.She was born Aug. 19, 1949, in Frankfort, Kan., the daughter of Fritz and Mary Lou Benteman.Mrs. Schmidt was a homemaker. She was active in bowling leagues in Flushing, Mich., and Boyne City.She married Jerry Schmidt. He survives, of the home.Other survivors include her father, Fritz Benteman, Lawrence; her mother, Mary Lou Strickler, Archbold, Ohio; a son, Jason Schmidt, St. Joseph, Mich.; a daughter, Mindy Schmidt, Belleville, Mich.; and two grandchildren.The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at Stackus Funeral Home in Boyne City.The family suggests memorials to the Boyne City First Presbyterian Church Building Fund or the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, 2312 Lapeer Road, Flint, MI 48503.
