Services for Mary June McElroy, 81, Lawrence, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Christian Church in Lawrence. Inurnment will be at a later date.Mrs. McElroy died Thursday, May 19, 2005, at Midland Hospice Center in Topeka.She was born June 16, 1923, in Glasgow, Ky., the daughter of Wilson and Grace Harbison Miller. She moved to Lawrence in 1966 from Shelbyville, Ky.Mrs. McElroy worked at Kansas University from 1966 to 1989 as an administrative assistant. She was formerly a court reporter in Kentucky. She was a member of First Christian Church and Alvamar Country Club.Survivors include a son, Frank McElroy, Lexington, Ky.; a daughter, Diane Moore, Bedford, Texas; and three grandchildren.The family suggests memorials to the church, sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence.E-mail condolences may be sent to <a href="mailto:info@warrenmcelwain.com">info@warrenmcelwain.com,</a>, subject: McElroy.
