Services for Lyndon Hubbell “Lyndy” Wells, 20, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Danforth Chapel on the Kansas University campus. Services are pending at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home and will be at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Newton. Private graveside services will follow.Mr. Wells died Friday, May 20, 2005, at Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan., after complications from surgery.He was born Aug. 16, 1984, in St. Louis, the son of Gordon Hubbell and Wendy Martin Wells. He was a sophomore and education major at Kansas University, where he was a member of Delta Sigma Phi fraternity.Survivors include his father, Lawrence; his mother, St. Louis; a sister, Molly Martin Wells, Denver; paternal grandmother, Mary Jean Wells, Wichita; maternal grandparents, Donald and Shirley Martin, Peoria, Ariz.; and a large extended family.A twin brother, Andrew Martin Wells, died earlier.The family suggests memorials to the Make-A-Wish Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice, sent in care of Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, 120 E.
