Harold L. Conley 1933 - 2005 Topeka
Services for Harold L. Conley, 71, Topeka, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Southern Baptist Church in Topeka.Mr. Conley died Wednesday, May 18, 2005, at Midland Hospice House in Topeka.He was born Nov. 9, 1933, in Winfield, the son of Fred and Josie Conley. He graduated form Hutchinson High School in 1951. He attended Hutchinson Junior College from 1951 to 1953 and graduated from Kansas University in 1955.Mr. Conley had been comptroller for the Kansas/Nebraska Convention of Southern Baptists since 1977. He also was business administrator for his church.He married Ann S. Gray on Nov. 6, 1955, in Lawrence. She survives, of the home.Other survivors include two sons, David, Tonganoxie, and Steven, Lawrence; a daughter, Cindy Lakey, Leawood; a granddaughter; two stepgrandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren.The family suggests memorials to Eternal Impact, sent in care of the church, 1912 S.W. Gage Blvd., Topeka 66604, or the Allison Smith Memorial Fund, sent in care of KNCSB, 5410 S.W.
