Marian Jane Washington 1918 - 2005 West Chester, Pa.

Funeral services for Marian Jane Washington, 87, Lawrence, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the DeBaptiste Funeral Home in West Chester, Pa. Burial will be at the Rolling Green Memorial Park Cemetery in West Chester.Mrs. Washington died Saturday, May 14, 2005, at Lawrence Presbyterian Manor.She was born Feb. 9, 1918, in Marshallton, Pa., the daughter of Walter and Bessie Lomax. She attended schools in West Chester. She moved from West Chester to Lawrence in 2001.Marian was a homemaker. She attended Bethel AME Church in West Chester.She married Goldie Washington. He died earlier.Survivors include four daughters, Marian Elizabeth Washington, Lawrence, Isabele Elaine Winfield and Catherine Mary Jackson, both of West Chester, and Janet Bernice Lane, Coatsville; 12 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.A son, David Elasher Washington, a daughter, Josephine Washington, and three grandchildren died earlier.The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home before the services.E-mail condolences may be sent to <a href="mailto:info@warrenmcelwain.com">info@warrenmcelwain.com</a>, subject: Washington.
