Eva Katherine Loshbaugh Fauble 1906 - 2005
Graveside services and internment for Eva Katherine Loshbaugh Fauble, 98, Laurie, Mo., will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Roselawn Cemetery in Columbus, Neb.Mrs. Fauble died Thursday, May 12, 2005, at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, Mo.She was born Sept. 10, 1906, in Columbus, the daughter of George Edward Loshbaugh and Eva Katherine Gregorious. Mrs. Fauble graduated from Columbus High School in 1924. She moved to Kansas City, Mo., with her husband in the 1920s, and then to Lawrence in 1988, where she stayed until she moved to Laurie in 2004.Mrs. Fauble was a homemaker for many years before working as an executive secretary for Ivanhoe Masonic Temple from 1959 to 1978, retiring at age 72. She volunteered at St. Luke's Hospital and St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Kansas City, Mo., where she was a member for 62 years.While in Lawrence, Mrs. Fauble volunteered at Trinity Episcopal Church and Plymouth Congregational Church.She married George Eugene Fauble on June 15, 1926. He died in 1966.Survivors include a daughter, Katie Sturtridge, Sunrise Beach, Mo.; a son, Don Fauble, Apple Valley; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.The family suggests memorials to the churches, sent in care of Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, P.O.
