Mildred Julia Leonhard Hollandsworth 1910 - 2005 Baxter Springs
Graveside services for Mildred Julia Leonhard Hollandsworth, 95, Baxter Springs, will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Memorial Park Cemetery in Lawrence.Mrs. Hollandsworth died Friday, May 13, 2005, in Baxter Springs. She was born Feb. 16, 1910, in Lawrence to Frank Henry and Ida Louise Schaake Leonhard. She graduated from Lawrence High School and attended Kansas University. She lived in many places in the United States and the Philippines. She lived in Tulsa, Okla., and later moved to Pryor, Okla., in 1972.Mrs. Hollandsworth was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church in Pryor. She was also a member of Friends of the Library in Pryor.She married Fred Hollandsworth on Oct. 18, 1940, in Salina. He died earlier.The family suggests memorials to Baxter Springs Field of Dreams, sent in care of Derfelt's Baxter Chapel, P.O. Box 616, Baxter Springs 66713.
