Jennifer S. Bayless 1953 - 2005 Horton
Native American Church services for Jennifer S. Bayless, 52, Havensville, will be at 5:30 p.m. Friday at the home of her father, Roe Cloud Jessepe, 1085 Dew Berry Road, on the Kickapoo Reservation west of Horton. Burial will be Saturday in Jessepe Cemetery on the Kickapoo Reservation.Mrs. Bayless died Tuesday, May 3, 2005, at her home.She was born Feb. 7, 1953, in Mayetta, the daughter of Louis "Roe Cloud" and Luetta Jean McKinney Jessepe.Mrs. Bayless was a homemaker. She was a member of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Tribe and Native American Church.She married Clifford Bayless in 1977 on the Kickapoo Reservation. He survives, of the home.Other survivors include three sons, Marlin Jessepe, Lincoln, Neb., Ish Wilson, Lawrence, and Randy Jessepe, Oklahoma City; a daughter, Tawn Jessepe, Horton; two brothers, Dewey Jessepe, Horton, and John Klusener, Topeka; a sister, Shirley Potts, Sabetha; and three grandchildren.The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton.
