Beulah Blanche Ingle 1915 - 2005
Graveside services for Beulah Blanche Ingle, 89, Lawrence, will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in Overbrook Cemetery.Mrs. Ingle died Sunday, June 19, 2005, at Oak Ridge Acres in Hiawatha.She was born Oct. 22, 1915, in Fairfax, Mo., the daughter of Leonard and Reena South Stoner. She was raised in Fairfax and graduated from high school in 1933. She had lived in Lawrence since 1940.Mrs. Ingle worked at the Sunflower Army Ammunition Plant near De Soto. She later worked as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell and retired after 31 years of service. She was a member of the Good Sam Club and Telephone Pioneers Club in Lawrence.She married Orville Ingle on Nov. 25, 1948, in Fairfax. He died in 1980.Survivors include two sons, Dean Ingle, Topeka, and Jay Ingle, Shingletown, Calif.; two daughters, Carol Bell, Lawrence, and Bea Paris, Fairfax; 27 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home in Lawrence.The family suggests memorials to the American Red Cross, sent in care of the funeral home.Online condolences may be sent at <a href="http://www.rumsey-yost.com">www.rumsey-yost.com</a>.
