Services for Ruby Ethel Bono, 92, Monroe City, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Monroe City Christian Church. Burial will be in St. Jude Cemetery in Monroe City.Mrs. Bono died Wednesday, June 15, 2005, at Surrey Place Manor in Chesterfield.She was born April 19, 1913, in Goss, the daughter of Owen Festus and Ruby Annis Selsor Paris. She attended Hays School in Monroe County. She lived in Louisiana, Mo., and moved to Monroe City in 1966.Mrs. Bono was a real estate associate with Warren G. See Realtors from 1968 to 1993. She was president of the Mark Twain Board of Realtors in 1977 and a former member and president of the Business and Professional Women's Assn. She served on the Monroe City Manor Board of Directors and was on the founding Board of the Monroe City Nutrition Center. She was a former member of Southside Christian Church in Hannibal and Louisiana Christian Church. She was also a member of Monroe City Christian Church, where she was a board member, president of Christian Women's Fellowship and Guild Deaconess. She was a member of the Missouri Realtor Million Dollar Club in 1977. She was selected as Missouri Association Realtor-Associate of the Year in 1977. She was a past Noble Grand of the Louisiana Rebekah Lodge.She married Robert Sylvester Bono on Aug. 25, 1934, in Monroe City. He died Feb. 28, 1973.Survivors include three sons, Robert L. Bono, Sullivan, Larry F. Bono, Lake Worth, Fla., and Marshall P. Bono, Chesterfield; a daughter, Phyllis Wolf, Lawrence, Kan.; two brothers, Weldon Paris, Monroe City, and Otis Paris, Hunnewell; a sister, Lucille Cheek, Quincy, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Garner Funeral Home in Monroe City.The family suggests memorials to Monroe City Christian Church, sent in care of the funeral home, P.O.
