Isabelle M. Plummer

Private graveside services for Isabelle M. Plummer, 92, Overland Park, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Perry. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Perry United Methodist Church.Mrs. Plummer died Thursday, June 2, 2005, at Epoch Assisted Living Center in Overland Park.She was born Sept. 9, 1912, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Harry A. “A.J.” and Ethel Hall Ploughe. She graduated from Perry Rural High School in 1930 and attended Kansas University from 1930 to 1933. She lived most of her life in Perry before she moved to Overland Park, where she lived for two years.Mrs. Plummer and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm near Perry. She was a member of Perry United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. She was also a member of the Algerian Club.She married Eugene G. Plummer on Oct. 14, 1933, in Thompsonville. He died Aug. 3, 1982.Other survivors include a son, Larry Plummer, Shawnee; a daughter, Lorna G. Brammell, Kansas City, Mo.; a sister, Vashti A. Dick, Perry; two granddaughters; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.Friends may call from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Barnett Funeral Home in Oskaloosa.The family suggests memorials to the church, sent in care of the funeral home, P.O.
