Robert Harold 'Bob' Davis 1923 - 2005
Services for Robert Harold "Bob" Davis, 82, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Barnett Funeral Home Chapel in Oskaloosa. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Perry.Mr. Davis died Tuesday, July 26, 2005, at Lawrence Presbyterian Manor.He was born July 11, 1923, in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Harold Simons and Mildred Eloise James Davis.Mr. Davis worked as a collator for Cottonwood Industries in Lawrence. He was a former member of the Methodist Church in Des Moines.Survivors include a half-sister, May Belle Davis Larson, Garden Grove, Calif.Friends may call from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.The family suggests memorials to the Robert Davis Memorial Fund, sent in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 416, Oskaloosa 66066.
