Edna May Jones Critchfield

Inurnment services for Edna May Jones Critchfield, 96, Baldwin, were Wednesday in Oakwood Cemetery in Baldwin.Mrs. Critchfield died Friday, July 15, 2005, at Baldwin Care Center.She was born Feb. 19, 1909, in Glenwood, Iowa, the daughter of George W. and Emma Jane Linn Jones. She graduated from Glenwood High School and attended Boyles Business College in Omaha, Neb. She lived on a farm near Effingham before she moved to Baldwin in 1933. She also had lived in Tucson, Ariz.Mrs. Critchfield worked at Mills County National Bank in Glenwood. She and her husband started a Dodge-Plymouth dealership in 1943. They retired in 1961. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and Philamathian Club in Baldwin.She married Rollie V. Critchfield on June 8, 1930, in Atchison. He died March 1, 1971.Survivors include two daughters, Pattie Cernosek, Graham, Texas, and Carolyn Breithaupt, Baldwin; a grandson; and two great-grandchildren.The family suggests memorials to the charity of the donor’s choice, sent in care of Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, P.O.
