Services for Edith G. Leonard, 72, Bellingham, Wash., will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 31, at Trinity Episcopal Church in Lawrence.Mrs. Leonard died Friday, July 1, 2005, in Bellingham.She was born Feb. 5, 1933, in Minneapolis, the daughter of Robert and Edith Campbell. She was raised in St. Louis by her mother and stepfather, John C. Gilmore. She received a degree in Romance Languages from Depauw University and a teaching certificate from Kansas University. She was a resident of Lawrence and twice lived in Germany.Mrs. Leonard performed with the Lawrence Civic Choir and was an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church.She married Gerhard Zuther. He died earlier. She married Roy Leonard. He died earlier.Survivors include two daughters, Karen Zuther, Bellingham, Wash., and Margaret Hardiman, Wilton, Conn.; a stepson, Robert Leonard, Houston; a stepdaughter, Connie Leonard, Los Angeles; two sisters, Nancy Campbell, Kennewick, Wash., and Janet Nobles, Gilmore, Texas; a brother, J.D.
