Thelma M. Brenner 1930 - 2005 Ottawa
Services for Thelma M. Brenner, 75, Ottawa, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First Christian Church in Ottawa. Private family inurnment services will be at a later date.Mrs. Brenner died Friday, July 15, 2005, at Ransom Memorial Hospital.She was born April 4, 1930, in Olivet, the daughter of Raymond and Florence Mae Conklin Crawford. She moved to Pomona as a child and attended school in Ottawa.Mrs. Brenner was a homemaker. She and her husband owned and operated Main Street Refinishing Center in Ottawa. She was a member of First Christian Church.She married Bob Brenner on Dec. 13, 1958, in Iola. He survives, of the home.Other survivors include a son, Corey Brenner, Ottawa; three daughters, Linda Sauer, Olathe, Jane Boles, Williamsburg, and Martha Schuster, Nampa, Idaho; a sister, Eula Wadkins; a brother, Alvin Crawford; six grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.A son, Wes Taylor, died earlier, and a daughter, Becky Horton, died earlier.Friends may call after 1 p.m. Sunday at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home in Ottawa, where the family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.The family suggests memorials to the Franklin County Cancer Foundation or the church, sent in care of Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 14, Ottawa 66067.
