Richard J. Christenson

Mass of Christian Burial for Richard J. Christenson, 46, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lawrence. Burial will be in Mount Sidney Cemetery in Linwood.Mr. Christenson died Sunday, July 10, 2005, at his home.Survivors include his wife, Susannah, of the home; three sons, Richard and Matthew, both of the home, and Blane, El Paso, Texas; two daughters, Rachel Christenson, Lawrence, and Elizabeth Christenson, of the home; two brothers, Lee, Springhill, and Tom, Tonganoxie; a sister Cindy Nunn, Linwood; and a granddaughter. A rosary will be said at 6:45 p.m. Friday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, where the family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday.The family suggests memorials to Catechesis of the Good Shepherd at St. John's, Ambassadors of Christ or Tall Oaks Prayer Garden, sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence.
