Anna B. Goodbar

Graveside services for Anna B. Goodbar, 92, Lawrence, will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Masonic Cemetery in Excelsior Springs, Mo.Mrs. Goodbar died Tuesday, July 12, 2005, at Brandon Woods Nursing Center.She was born Nov. 15, 1912, in Excelsior Springs, Mo., the daughter of William F. and Miriam Dean Cook. She had lived in the Kansas City area since 1942 and moved to Lawrence in 2002.Mrs. Goodbar was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Kansas City, Kan., and Excelsior Springs Order of the Eastern Star, and was a former member of Providence Medical Center Auxiliary. She married John V. Goodbar. He survives, of the home.Other survivors include a son, Jerry Goodbar, Reseda, Calif.; two daughters, Judy Mullen, Kansas City, Kan., and Becky Gibson, Lawrence; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.The family suggests memorials to Heart of America Hospice in Topeka or the American Cancer Society, sent in care of George F.
