Eva Emily Jardon 1912 - 2005 Baldwin

Graveside services for Eva Emily Jardon, 93, Baldwin, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Oakwood Cemetery in Baldwin. Mrs. Jardon died Thursday, July 7, 2005, at Baldwin Care Center. She was born July 4, 1912, in Eudora, the daughter of John W. and Lelia A. Witham Hart. She grew up in Baldwin and attended Baldwin High School. Mrs. Jardon worked as a cook for Zeta Chi Fraternity, Jack's Drive In, Audra's Restaurant and other establishments. She married Charles A. Jardon on Nov. 9, 1929, in Baldwin. He died in 1953. A grandson also died earlier. Survivors include two sons, Buddy Jardon and Billy R. Jardon, both of Baldwin; two daughters, Peggy L. Ford, Baldwin, and Betty B. Langrell, West Sun City, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Wilson's Funeral Home in Wellsville. The family suggests memorials to the Eva Jardon Memorial Fund, sent in care of the funeral home, PO Box 486, Wellsville 66092.
