Christopher Wayne Curtis 1979 - 2005
Services for Christopher Wayne Curtis, 26, Lawrence, will be at 6 p.m. today at Colonial Presbyterian Church in Overland Park and at 5 p.m. Sunday at Burcham Park in Lawrence.Mr. Curtis died Wednesday, June 22, 2005, in Eugene, Ore.He was born Feb. 3, 1979, in Stillwater, Okla., the son of Robert Douglas and Vivian Kay Smith Curtis. He attended Johnson County Community College and Kansas University. He had lived in Perkins and Midwest City, Okla.; Princeton, N.J.; Columbia, Mo.; Lexington, Neb.; Lenexa; Lawrence; Portland and Eugene, Ore.; Kauai, Hawaii; and various other places.Mr. Curtis had been a United Postal Service carrier and an attendant care worker at Miami County Mental Health Center.He married Sarah Breton on Feb. 14, 1997. They divorced.Survivors include his parents, Lenexa; a son, Silas Sawyer Curtis, Shelton, Conn.; and two sisters, Charity Dawn Curtis and Amy Ruth Curtis, both of Lawrence.The family suggests memorials to the Lawrence Interdenominational Nutrition Kitchen, P.O.
