Arthur Lloyd Johnson Jr. 1914 - 2005 Louisville, Ky.
Services for Arthur Lloyd Johnson Jr., 91, Louisville, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Third Central United Christian Church in Louisville. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens in Mount Washington.Mr. Johnson died Monday, Dec. 26, 2005, in Louisville.He was born Dec. 5, 1914, in Lawrence, Kan., the son of Arthur Sr. and Olda Anderson Johnson.Mr. Johnson served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was an educator for Jefferson County Public Schools.He was a member of Third Central United Christian Church, Louisville Jewish Community Orchestra, Kentucky Tennis Patrons Hall of Fame, Louisville Central High School Hall of Fame and West Louisville Tennis Club.Survivors include a sister, Muriel Paul. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Monday at A.D. Porter & Sons Funeral Home in Louisville, and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the church.
