Delores "Babe" Meyer Lee 1934 - 2005 Kansas City, Mo.
Services for Delores "Babe" Meyer Lee, 71, Kansas City, Mo., will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Watkins Brothers Memorial Chapel in Kansas City, Mo. A meditation will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel.Mrs. Lee died Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2005, at Kingswood Senior Living Community in Kansas City, Mo.She was born Jan. 26, 1934, in Osage City, Kan., the daughter of Roy and Julia Haws. She graduated from high school in 1952. She also lived in Omaha, Neb., Washington, D.C., and Lawrence, Kan.Mrs. Lee worked for the U.S. Navy Department in Washington, D.C. She worked at Douglas County Title and Abstract and the Aeroquip Corp. in Lawrence.She married James Meyer. They divorced. She married Marcellus Lee Sr. in September 1985 in Lawrence. He died in April 2004.Survivors include a son, Steven Meyer, Willmar, Minn.; a brother, Roy Haws, Carbondale, Kan.; and two grandchildren.
