Alice Elizabeth Harvey 1915 - 2005 Winchester

Services for Alice Elizabeth Harvey, 90, Winchester, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Winchester United Methodist Church. Private family inurnment will be in Winchester Reformed Presbyterian Cemetery.Mrs. Harvey died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005, at the Hickory Pointe Care Center in Oskaloosa.She was born June 15, 1915, in Winchester, the daughter of John Marcus and Jessie Louella French Dill. She lived most of her life in the Nortonville, Winchester and Cummings area.Mrs. Harvey attended the School of Nursing at Bethany Hospital in Kansas City, Kan. She was a registered nurse for nine years at Jefferson County Memorial Hospital and worked for Dr. F.W. Huston in Winchester. She retired in 1987.She was a member of Winchester United Methodist Church, Jefferson County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Winchester Senior Citizens and United Methodist Women. She also taught Sunday school.She married Albert L. Harvey on Oct. 21, 1947, at Winchester. He died May 28, 1977.Survivors include a foster son, Steven Klepees, Cummings.The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to noon Friday at the church.The family suggests memorials to the church or Jefferson County Memorial Hospital, sent in care of Barnett Funeral Home, P.O.
