Ronald Sisson 1934 - 2005 De Soto
Services for Ronald Sisson, 71, De Soto, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary's Eudora Chapel. Burial will be at Silent City Cemetery in De Soto.Mr. Sisson died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.He was born Oct. 19, 1934, in Nevada, Mo., the son of Sylven C. and Norma Georgia Huston Sisson.Mr. Sisson served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1956. He worked for Safeway, now Cereal Foods, as a grain miller for 35 years.Survivors include five daughters, Terri Berry, Bonner Springs, Kimmy Jo Jennings, Stockton, Mo., and Becky Lobner, Rhonda Kraus and Mona Gower, all of De Soto; a brother, Ben, Richmond, Mo.; two sisters, Lorraina Slater, Kansas City, Mo., and Treva Crane, Gallup, N.M.; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Assn., sent in care of the mortuary, 1003 John L.
