Lilian Ann Tucker

Services for Lilian Ann Tucker, 67, Cottonwood Falls, will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. Private inurnment will be at a later date in Colorado.Mrs. Tucker died Sunday, Dec. 11, 2005, in Cottonwood Falls.She was born July 24, 1938, in Ipswich, England, the daughter of Robert and Elsie Suckling Watt. She graduated from high school in Ipswich and moved to the United States in 1962.Mrs. Tucker was a homemaker and member of the British Wife’s Club.She married Edward J. Tucker in 1970 in Commerce City, Colo. He died in 1998.Survivors include four sons, Carl Spurgeon, Emporia, Troy Spurgeon, Douglasville, Ga., and Wayne Spurgeon and Brian Spurgeon, both of Commerce City; a daughter, Michelle White, Ohatchie, Ala.; four brothers, Freddie Watt, Trevor Watt, Kelvin Watt and Micheal Watt, all of Ipswich; three sisters, Evelyn McCarthy, Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Donna Watt and Winifred Pelling, Ipswich; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society, sent in care of the mortuary.Online condolences may be sent to info@warrenmcelwain.com, subject: Tucker.
