Harlan Herb Mall 1930 - 2005 Ellsworth
Services for Harlan Herb Mall, 75, Ellsworth, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church in Ellsworth. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Prairie Dale Cemetery in Talmage.Mr. Mall died Sunday, Dec. 11, 2005, at Salina Regional Health Center.He was born June 4, 1930, in Oak Hill, the son of Edwin William and Elizabeth K. Fisher Mall. He moved from Beloit to Ellsworth in 1986.Mr. Mall was a Duckwall store manager for 35 years in Lawrence, Junction City, Topeka, Beloit, Lincoln, Osborne and Ellsworth. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Ellsworth.He married Wilma Knox on Feb. 5, 1950, in Abilene. She survives, of the home.Other survivors include two daughters, Nancy DeWeese, Pratt, and Julie Seyfert, Beloit; a sister, Leona Olsen, Topeka; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.Friends may call from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Parsons Funeral Home in Ellsworth. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church.The family suggests memorials to the church, sent in care of the funeral home, 307 N. Lincoln Ave., Ellsworth 67439.
