Alice V. Sible Harrison 1909 - 2005 Colby
Services for Alice V. Sible Harrison, 96, Colby, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Harrison Chapel in Colby. Burial will be in Beulah Cemetery in Colby.Mrs. Harrison died Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2005, in Colby.She was born Aug. 3, 1909, in Colby, where she was a lifelong resident.Mrs. Harrison was a homemaker. She was a member of Colby United Methodist Church, Colby Chapter of the Eastern Star 442, PEO, Sorosis Club, American Legion Auxiliary and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.She married Claude E. Harrison. He died in 1965.A son, George, died in 1939, and a son, Philip, died in 1990.Survivors include two sons, Sidney Harrison, Lawrence, and Charles Harrison, Lakewood, Colo.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at the chapel.The family suggests memorials to the church, sent in care of the chapel, P.O. Box 634, Colby 67701.
